"Understanding Windows CardSpace: An Introduction to the Concepts and Challenges of Digital Identities"

The link to the policy
can be provided in the HTML of the tag or in the
policy of a WCF application.
For some certi?¬?cates, such as the one used at this site, part of
the information is not displayed. The certi?¬?cate from the site is
not an EV certi?¬?cate. Another bene?¬?t of an EV certi?¬?cate is that
is allows logo URLs to be used to display logos on the
CardSpace Relying Party Identi?¬?cation page. Figure 3-15 shows
a page with an EV certi?¬?cate.
Managed Card Import Page
The Managed Card Import page is very similar to the Relying
Party Identi?¬?cation page. It exhibits the same behavior when
displaying certi?¬?cates and EV certi?¬?cates. The difference is that
instead of identifying an RP, it is used to identify the IP that issued
the card. When the IP provides a Managed Card with a
.crd extension, it needs to digitally sign the ?¬?le with a certi?¬?cate.

What Is an EV Certi?¬?cate?
To acquire an Extended Validation certi?¬?cate, a site needs to go through extra
steps while registering for the certi?¬?cate.
