The Change Password button was removed to provide for a higher degree of default security
in Exchange Server 2003, particularly because the Exchange 2000 Change Password
feature was highly insecure in its original implementations. Fortunately, however, the
Exchange Server 2003 Change Password option in OWA was recoded to operate at a much
lower security context, and is subsequently much safer.
