13. Put the iPod back together.
Replace Your iPod Mini??™s Shell
For the iPod mini, you need to replace the entire shell, not just the front panel.
See Table 8-3 for the required tools and the difficulty level.

To replace the shell of a first- or second-generation iPod mini:
1. Open the iPod mini according to the instructions in Chapter 3. The logic board and
shell are now separate (see Figure 8-39).
