Open the iPod according to the instructions in Chapter 3.
2. Unplug the audio jack from the logic board (see Figure 5-18).
3. Slide the hard drive from the hard drive connector, and remove the hard drive from the
iPod (see Figure 5-19).

4. Unplug the hard drive connector from the logic board, and remove it from the iPod
(see Figure 5-20).
5. Unplug the battery from the logic board (see Figure 5-21).
6. Remove the battery from the iPod (see Figure 5-22).
