"iPod Repair QuickSteps"

How??™s it
going in there? Are you calm and focused or frazzled
and distracted? And what??™s the current status of your
environment?
You wouldn??™t attempt to repair your iPod with both hands
tied behind your back for obvious reasons. Perhaps less
obviously but for the very same reasons, you shouldn??™t
attempt to repair your iPod without giving it your full
attention. Try to set aside a block of you-time for the job,
without the usual million interruptions that come with
day-to-day life. Don??™t attempt to squeeze in your repair
between band practice and baseball over a burrito.
Sequester yourself in a room, maybe. Turn off the cell
phone. Turn off the TV. Take a couple of deep breaths;
it can??™t hurt, and it works wonders for ninjas.
The place that you choose to repair your iPod feeds back
into your mental game, so choose wisely, grasshopper.
You want good lighting so that you can see what you??™re
doing. If the available lighting isn??™t cutting it, borrow your
desk lamp or another portable source.
You also want a clean, flat surface to work on.
