NOTE
The Microdrive is a miniature hard drive. It was designed
to fit in a CompactFlash (CF) slot, like the kind on a
digital camera. IBM developed the Microdrive in 1999.
Other manufacturers have since come out with their own
licensed Microdrives, as well as unlicensed, Microdrive-like
alternatives, which most people call microdrives anyway
for the same reason that you call all soft paper tissues
kleenexes, whether or not Kleenex actually makes them.
